Day 9: Random Rune Stone

Painting with light:

Thanks to my assistant Klingan, without his phenomenal Umbrella-holding skills I would never have been able to shoot in the rain.

  2. Go Klingan! We thank you too, because this is simply superb! I LOVE the red runes in the rune stone, which really look as though they are glowing. Lovely colours and textures, of course, as usual! Very nice work. Gorgeous lighting too, although I might have been tempted to play down the bright light at the right a bit... Might have spoiled the atmosphere though. This feels like a secret thing in a secret place, but still right near normality. Nice one.

  3. Random rune stone sounds like there are many of them. Cool thingies. Any idea what it says? Or does?

The photo is great, sorry, but I'm getting used to that ;)

  4. You are the master of lighting.....though the bright light to the right is somewhat distracting

  7. You have an assistant! Cool! I like the colours of the leaves and grass just below the stone. I wonder what the writing says.

  10. Another beautiful Shot! I agree with Kim. The light in the upper right is a little bright. But I love the atmosphere!
