I expected to see today's full moon added today. When I did some last minute shopping at almost I saw the moon and immediately pictured you walking to a lovely historical building with the moon above. But instead you surprise me with an actual human in the picture, maybe even yourself or your assistant. I like the way the shadow shows on the stairs and the pavement. Oh, and I'm dying to know how you "do" your HDR's. The PS-build in doesn't do the trick for me yet.
Is that you walking up the stairs? Fabulous idea, fabulous shot, and I love the warm golden glow of the lights that plays across the beautiful old building. You really are taking us on a marvellous tour of your university and city. Lovely stuff.
Yeah, it's me. I put the camera on timer. And to Pr4ktic: No, it is not 1/60, it is an 8-second exposure, slightly combined with a 3-second for the light. So I actually stand almost still for 8 seconds in that pose. People looked quite weird on me.
Definitely my favourite of your pictures so far.
ReplyDeleteExcellent.
The man adds some mystery and I like the twinkle from the lamp on the right....once again, superb lighting and mood
ReplyDeleteI love this shot. You truly captured the grandeur and magic of this library.

Haha, isn't that you in the picture? Looks like that! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteLovely golden glow. Is that your assistant from yesterday on the stairs?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure these are not 1/60 second shots so I guess either MasterGnu himself or his famous assistent Klingan is doing a cameo.
ReplyDeleteAdding to the greatness!

Beautiful! I expect you're well pleased with this shot. I especially like the twinkly lights right at the very top. Nice done.
ReplyDeleteI am loving your shots in the evening! This is a great tour and an amazing collection!
