So, first day of the thirty. My theme for this 30 days-challenge will be "my countryside", trying to capture the surrounding in which I grew up. This sounds like there will be a lot of landscape shots but I'll start of with a macro of one of our red currant bushes instead:
Soon to become home made pie, juice or something else delicious:).

Wow, that's gorgeous! Fabulous colour combinations and a great selective DOF to highlight those delicious berries and reduce the impact of the leaves. Nice one!
ReplyDeleteVery nice use of DoF and opposite colors to let those berries pop. And bring on those landscapes, I heard Sweden is gorgeous :D
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty and tasty looking. Now you have to show us the pie! :)
ReplyDeletedet är mycket vacker och stora tema!

Haha. Great use of google translator there Eury. Thanks for all the wonderful comments so far.
ReplyDeleteBeautful! I love the way the light shines off the berries.
ReplyDeleteI am impressed! What a beauty!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful DOF and a great green background, that goes perfectly with the red berries.

What a stunning shot!! Can't wait for the next 29 days - I've always wanted to visit Sweden, now I can (well, virtually at any rate ;))
ReplyDeleteAwesome work Gnu, great DOF and excellent natural colour scheme!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! I can't wait to see more of your countryside.
ReplyDeletegorgeous! I can't wait for the next 29 days!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot Gnu!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot I could almost eat it
ReplyDeleteluscious photo, very nicely displayed. Great colours happening.
ReplyDeleteThe red and green colors are so vivid and they really complement each other. Can currants be eaten straight from the stem? They look so juicy.

I can almost taste these berries bursting in my mouth!
ReplyDeleteThis made me check the few berries that are growing in my backyard to see if the birds and/or neighboorhood children have beaten me again in eating them.
ReplyDeleteThis is the only one I've commented on since the challenge started, and I just had to, because I think this is my favorite so far, even though it's only day 7!! :) This is a truly beautiful shot, I love the colors and composition - basically just everything about it! :) Good job!
