So I thought I was going to shot a church, my feet, a flamingo thingy and maybe something more.... but I didn't. Might come back with the tributes later.
Awesome moody and stormy atmosphere in this one. Love that grain and the overall threatening tone of the lighting. Very effective post processing for the scene. Great job.
I would love to try and get a shot like this one day, I suspect you had to lie down flat for it. Most grainfields around my village are protected by ditches & fences though. Your stormy sky reminds me of getting out more to shoot on rainy days as well ...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful - it has an other-worldly feel to it that the graininess emphasizes. Great atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do shoot a church - I'd love to see one in the beauty of your countryside!
What an exceptional photo! Very nice indeed. I can see why you chose to break with the tributes.
ReplyDeleteThis looks wonderful. You have so many colours in the grain stalks, and the clouds look fantastic. Great eeriness.
ReplyDeleteA grain field under a grainy gray sky, how appropriate! Wonderful gloomy mood.

You've got a wonderful, creepy, Children of the Wheat thing going on here!
